Red Cross Community Blood Drive at Bartwood

Did you know that one pint of donated blood can save three lives?  Or that a single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood?  Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.  Although an estimated 38% of the U.S. population is eligible to donate, less than 10% actually do each.

That’s why Bartwood Construction wanted to support its community and support the live-saving work of the American Red Cross by recently hosting a community blood drive at its Fountain Valley facility.  Eighteen Bartwood employees and community members rolled up their sleeves and took part in one of the easiest (and most meaningful) ways to help save lives.
